Our Story

Prospect City was founded in 2000 by Robert Stein, a 23-year recruiting industry veteran of several global executive search firms and boutiques focused exclusively on senior level work.

Initially Prospect City was developed as a matchmaking service introducing recruiting intelligence providers (researchers) to those in need of information, including executive recruiters, corporate human resource executives, private equity firms and management consultants. Today the Exchange Hub remains a key component of Prospect City.

Exchange Hub
Prospect City continues to operate its online community portal for over 1,000 members. The site contains a researcher directory with detailed profiles and contact information, a bulletin board, message posting with active delivery to all members, and a library of resources. Private Exchange Hub
In addition to the Community-based Exchange Hub, Prospect City offers a private version for use within global search firms and distributed corporate recruitment functions. This online system is secure and proprietary for our clients. It serves as a central platform where distributed recruiters and researchers can share information, post needs, store information and share resource passwords.

We’ve organized the recruiting research departments for a number of global search firms and multi-billion-dollar corporations. In fact, one private hub hosts over 60,000 corporate users and includes an employee referral system and rewards component.
